50 Cent announces a November release date for his fifth studio album "Street King Immortal".
After being mired with delays due to issues with his label Interscope, 50 Cent finally announces the release date for his fifth studio album Street King Immortal.
Originally, Fif’s 5 (Murder By Numbers) album was set to be a studio release, but after having points of contention with his label, the G-Unit general decided to release that as a mixtape. With his contract under Interscope nearing an end, 50 was able to gain full support from the label after clearing an audit, and now everything seems cleared up for the release of his latest studio effort.
Street King Immortal is slated for a November 13th release date and will feature the recently released Dr. Dreand Alicia Keys featured “New Day”.

Krayzie Bone Released From Jail Following DUI
Krayzie Bone is out of jail and says "lesson learned" concerning his first-ever DUI.
Krayzie Bone has been released from jail, following his DUI on early Friday morning in L.A.
The rapper of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony said he learned his lesson to TMZ. "I
was just riding home late and got into a little trouble with the law.
It is what it is. It happens sometimes. I'm cool now. I'm going home,"
Krayzie said.
He added, "First time it has ever happened to me. So lesson learned."

Pusha T Talks Competition With Other Crews, Revising His Work For Kanye West
Pusha Ton speaks on whether or not G.O.O.D.
Music feels competition with labels like MMG, how he feels about
revising his work when collaborating with Kanye West & more.
While the G.O.O.D. Music family is on the cover of Complex Magazine's August/September issue, Pusha T spoke to Complex for a solo interview recently.
During
the interview, he talks on competition from the G.O.O.D. Music team
with other crews, studio vibes, and revising his work when Kanye is present. Check out some excerpts below.
On competition with MMG:
"No.
I don't think that G.O.O.D. Music ever considers any of the other
labels that are out there. We like the music. We appreciate it. But at
the end of the day I think it’s more competitive in-house. You've got
guys like Sean, who's like running his little section. You've got guys
like Common, who will just rap you out of house and home. You've got
guys like myself who, you know… I get busy. You've got Kanye. You've got
Cudi in his lane. It's more of a puzzle trying to get all those
different characters and all those different forms or rap to mesh well
on a record. [To even] find the right record. Ye's got to go through his
whole production line process before it's perfect. That’s really what
we consider in the studio."
On Kanye asking him to revise his work when they collaborate:
"As
far as revisions go and revising your verse when you're dealing with
G.O.O.D. Music, it happens to all of us. I have never rewritten more
verses in my life than right now. Being signed to G.O.O.D. it just comes
with the territory, man. These guys are perfectionists. I write verses
and already think they're perfect. At the end of the day, ‘Ye will come
through and be like, “Ah, no. We can do better or we can edit that out.”
He's really taught me in a sense of what he's looking for now, so now I
sort of got it down to a science so I don't got to revisit it so much.
But it's not beyond any of us. We revise stuff all the time.
"It's
not humbling because you have to look at who's telling you to revise
your verse. I never look at revision or any type of criticism as
humbling when it’s coming from a 90-time Grammy winner. You've got to
listen to somebody. Music is still a learning experience for me. I came
into the game under super producers; I deal with super producers a lot,
whether it be Pharrell, whether it be Kanye, whether it be The-Dream.
You have to listen to somebody. Me specifically, I have to. I'm a
rapper. "

Krayzie Bone Arrested For DUI In L.A.
The rapper of group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony was arrested around 12:30 AM today for drunk driving.
Krazyie Bone, of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, was arrested today for a DUI.
Reports
say the 39-year-old rapper was drunk driving in L.A. early this
morning, when he got pulled over by the cops during a routine traffic
stop, at around 12:30 AM.
The police suspected Krayzie was
intoxicated, and asked him to do a field sobriety test, which he did not
do well on. He reportedly blew over a .10 on the breathalyzer (while
the legal limit in Cali is .08).
Cops arrested Krayzie on
suspicion of a DUI. He was cooperative with the police, and was booked
and brought to the nearest jail.

The standard edition features thirteen tracks, while the deluxe edition will give seventeen.

Drake Says He Was First Person To Successfully Rap & Sing
Drizzy deems himself "the first person to successfully rap and sing" in a recent interview, and talks on his style of rap and persona.
Drake definitely has a signature sound, it's what made him famous: he sings and raps.
While talking to the JC Online (via HHDX), Drizzy says although rappers had incorporated melodies before, he was the first person to do it successfully. "There were people who incorporated melody before me," Drake said. "but I would deem myself the first person to successfully rap and sing."
Drake has often been criticized as "soft" by the rap community, but he says his persona is not a gimmick. "Yes, there are aspects of it [my persona] that are new in the rap world. But it's not a gimmick. I just sort of exist and people embrace it. I'm one of the few artists who gets to be himself every day. It doesn't take me six hours to get ready and I don't have to wake up in the morning and remember to act like this or talk like this. I just have to be me. That's one of the favourite parts of my life - I've done this purely by being myself."

Game's Wedding & Reality TV Show Plans Are Back On
Game's plans to marry his fiancee and mother of his child are back on, after announcing the wedding cancellation last week.
After cancelling his wedding last week, Game's wedding is reportedly back on, as are plans for a reality TV show based around the nuptials.
Game originally stated on Twitter that the wedding had been called off by Tiffney Cambridge, and that he wasn't man enough to see it through.
Maybe now he's plucked up the courage to go through with it, as TMZ reports the wedding date has been moved to August.
