Hit-Boy Hits Up Hawaii To Finish "Cruel Summer"

Hit-Boy Hits Up Hawaii To Finish
As fans wait with bated breath, the G.O.O.D Music crew heads to Honolulu studio for back-up.
In an interview with VIBE.com, Hit-Boy reassures the press that the upcoming LPCruel Summer is as good as finished. Following suit, he's on his way to Honolulu, Hawaii with G.O.O.D. Music to help Kanye West fine-tune the album. The release has already been postponed from September 4th to the 18th to leave more time for adding features. But the Cali producer shows no signs of impatience, and claims to be just as excited as last summer when he got started working on the single "Niggas In Paris" for ‘Ye and Jay-Z.
He might even end up rapping on the album, though he makes no promises saying, “it’s possible. Actually, yeah we talked about it, so I’ma just let the chips fall as they may.” Hit-Boy’s also never been to Hawaii, and looks forward to the possibility of photo shoots, or even the production of a video for the project.
Stand by for the monster that’s sure to launch from hibernation soon from the area code duly labeled 808.

Lil Wayne's "Dedication 4" Delayed

Lil Wayne's
The Lil Wayne and DJ Drama mixtape "Dedication 4" has officially been delayed.
It was looking like the mixtape was going to be pushed back as Weezy and DJ Drama had went quiet on the project today, but it is now official that Lil Wayne's Dedication 4 mixtape will be delayed.
While rappers delaying albums is nothing new, the delay of this mixtape comes after Wiz Khalifa's and Curren$y's Live In Concert was delayed to clear samples.  No word on if this is the cause of the D4 delay, but after the Mac Miller lawsuits, it seems that some of the bigger names in hip hop are weary about using other artists' beats on free tapes.
Mack Maine, the president of Young Money, took to Twitter to break the bad news to fans that the mixtape will not drop today.  No future date has been released, as he only said "we will announce the new date soon".

Chief Keef Tweets Kanye "Aint Do Shit For Me"

Chief Keef Tweets Kanye

Chief Keef lashes out on Twitter saying his success has nothing to do with Kanye's "I Don't Like" remix.
The battle for "King of Chicago" is becoming a hot topic as up and coming talent, Chief Keef, the man behind one of the current street anthems "I Don't Like", is on the rise.  Of course, Kanye West is still heralded as the best out of Chicago while working with other Chi-town vets like Common and Lupe Fiasco.
Now (from MissInfo), it looks like Chief Keef is getting annoyed with all the Kanye chatter.  This comes after 'Ye remixed the "I Don't Like" track with his G.O.O.D. Music compatriots.  Many believed the young rapper should have been honored that West would decide to remix his track, as it would give his music more exposure.  In a past interview, Keef revealed that he had never met, or even spoken to Kanye, and that the remix was done without his involvement.
Tired of people saying his track blew up because of Kanye's version, Chief Keef took to Twitter to make it clear that his success is his own doing.

Audio Of Bangladesh Released, Confirms Dissing Swizz Beatz

The audio has been released for the interview with Bangladesh, when he called Swizz Beatz irrelevant.
Earlier this week producer Bangladesh made the news when he dissed Swizz Beatz and called him irrelevant while talking to XXL.
Swizz responded keeping the insults to a minimum, but did refer to Bangladesh as a "clown." Bangladesh, however, took to Twitter to say that XXL had re-worked what he said somehow, or flipped the interview, and that he never actually called Swizz irrelevant.
Since then, the XXL writer involved, named Chanel Jasmin Clark, has released the audio of Bangladesh dissing Swizz, and spoke to Jack Thriller of ThisIs50 about the incident. Although she wasn't planning too, she felt her journalistic integrity had been compromised when the "A Milli" producer tried to accuse XXL of flipping what he originally said.
The audio confirms that Bangladesh did indeed diss Swizz, although he attempted to deny it later.
Watch the interview with Chanel Clark below.

Producer Bangladesh Says He Doesn't Think Swizz Beatz Is Relevant

Producer Bangladesh Says He Doesn't Think Swizz Beatz Is Relevant
Bangladesh spoke out against fellow producer Swizz Beatz when discussing how to stay relevant.
Producer Bangladesh recently gave his opinion on another producer-slash-rapper, Swizz Beatz.
According to Bangladesh though, Swizz Beatz isn't relevant. XXL caught up with him in NYC, and asked him the secret to success for aspiring producers. Bangladesh's answer? Keep reinventing yourself, something he thinks he's one of the best at.
"I don’t think Swizz is relevant," Bangladesh said. "I’m keeping it 100."
"I think there’s a difference between relevance and musical relevance," he says. "You married a lady that’s poppin’ [Alicia Keys], you know it’ll give you a lot of relevance, but you gotta make hits. Ain’t no hits. Are you relevant for the craft you’re doing or the life you live as far as the decisions you make?"
Many fans of Swizz may disagree, as his most recent productions are Nas' "Summer On Smash" and Slaughterhouse's "Throw It Away."
"The relevance is in being youthful," the producer continued. "Still being in-the-know.  I have a 15 year old son so they think we’re brothers and I put him on to stuff. You know, I’m 34 but people tell me I look 23.  He still look to me for information. Usually it’s the opposite; usually the parents are lame or too old to understand or whatever. Just the way I feel, I got so much more time."
What do the viewers of DHHD think? Is Swizz Beatz relevant or not?
